Club PAWS
Club PAWS has been running at Curtin University since the start of 2007. The main aim of the club is to promote awareness of animal suffering and also the related environmental degradation.
We promote a general awareness of these topics as well as specific issues and current campaigns. By joining Club PAWS, members also have the chance to get more active off-campus. Members will be notified of various events happening off-campus and will also be given other relevant information. Through a variety of events, this club brings together students with a common concern for the suffering of animals and the destruction of the environment. So far at Curtin we have showed a variety of animal-related movies, provided a stall at many different events, and participated in the human battery cage project.
To join the club costs nothing, all that it means is that you are added to the Club PAWS contact list and you will receive emails so you know about what is happening on-campus, as well as events and other stuff of interest off-campus. Then you can just come down to whatever events you are interested in and have time for.
For more information or to join the Club PAWS email list, contact Nick at hockeyman182@hotmail.com
If you would like to set up a Club PAWS at your university campus then please contact PAWS.
